Is Almighty God using your very own marriage to help you to become a better believer in His power over all things? How can patience or the lack thereof affect the course of your marriage? Why is patience and prayer so necessary in our lives and especially in our marriages in 2016? When long-married couples are asked the recipe for marital success, many identify patience as a key ingredient. Patience is the indispensable virtue for living together day after day in relative peace, without constant struggles to change the other to our liking. Have we become impatient with our spouses and have we forgotten that they are in transition from one stage to another? Have we already made hasty judgments, and we are locked into that judgment by our emotional attachment to our own sense of what is correct, or what is right, based upon what we believe we understand? Will our judgment sentence our marriages to death? Has doubt and suspicion set in to our view regarding our spouses? Why are these two things called the enemies of faith and the mother of hypocrisy? Why are we advised to seek assistance through patience and prayer? Why are these the answers from Almighty God when we are not sure what we should do? What did the Minister say about the great value of patience just the other day!?!
