- Completion of an AVMA-accredited Animal Health Technician program and/or possession of a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license. A bachelor’s degree with relevant experience may substitute for licensure requirements.
- Experience working with rodent models is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Availability to respond to veterinary emergencies on weekends and holidays.
- No known allergies to laboratory animal.
The salary range is: $45,000-$55,000/Annual. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
